What is Digital Rights Management (DRM)?

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is now also known as Content Access and Control. It is a flexible platform that makes it possible to protect and securely deliver content for playback on a computer, portable device or a network device. In basic terms, DRM is the ability to brand digital media either music or video with attributes that ensure copy protection.
